Find a low cost means of introducing the American consumer to a new product and in the process convince Wamsutta retailers that consumer demand has already been created.
Course of Action:
Use emotional testimonials in a long form infomercial to convey the success of new technology from Wamsutta in solving the age old problem of thermal incompatibility between sleeping partners.
The Infoworx Outcome:
Despite the fact that the core benefits of the product did not lend themselves to demonstration, retailers began calling as soon as the infomercial began to air,eager to carry the line.
